On 12 May 2023, the Wendi Modular production site in Cēsis hosted a demonstration of the “BFlex” thermal insulation material developed within the LIFE_PHIPP project. The demonstration event was organised by Balticfloc Ltd. in cooperation with Wendi Modular, a manufacturer of wooden frame houses.
During the event, the new “BFlex” thermal insulation material was presented and its installation in the wall of a timber frame building was demonstrated. Its competitiveness and demand in the thermal insulation market and its technical characteristics compared to other popular thermal insulation materials on the market were also discussed.
During the event, there was an opportunity to meet representatives from Balticfloc and Wendi Modular and learn more about their activities and news.
Invited guests included a representative from the energy auditing company Energi, who shared their knowledge and recommendations on efficient home insulation.
Building material traders and distributors, builders specialising in thermal insulation materials and wooden frame house manufacturers were invited to the product demonstration. Other interested external parties could also take part in the event by registering in advance.
