SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN:

Balticfloc has launched a social media campaign, during which several paid advertisements on LIFE_PHIPP project will be published in order to acquaint wider public with the concept and objective of LIFE_PHIPP project, and the results to be achieved at the end of the project.

The advertisements will be published and distributed on Facebook, Instagram and Google platforms and specifically targeted to the audience in Latvia, Baltic states, Great Britain, Finland and Germany.

 

 

NETWORKING :

SIA BALTICFLOC INTRODUCES LIFE_PHIPP PROJECT TO PARTICIPANTS OF NETWORKING EVENTS OF LIFE PROJECTS

Networking with other LIFE projects is one of the most important activities in implementing the LIFE Programme project. The aim of these measures is cooperation, the possibility of establishing a network of familiarity and assistance. In networking activities, it is possible to meet similar thinking project implementers, to share information on the project, experience, knowledge and, in the most successful cases, to develop cooperation.

PROJECT BROCHURE:

This brochure gives information on the goals and activities of the LIFE_PHIPP project. It is printed on recycled paper and is designed without using stapling or any other booklet binding method. The brochure is issued in 8 languages:

NOTICE BOARD:

The project Poster gives main information on the environmental problem triggered by household waste and how LIFE_PHIPP project could help in solving this problem. The Poster contains information on the project goals, activities and impact on solving the waste management problem in European countries. It is placed at Balticfloc plant, where it is well-observable by the public, and it also will be placed at Demo houses (in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Great Britain, Germany and Finland), in which the innovative heat insulation material made of low class waste paper and high-value hemp fibre will be used.

LATVIAN PATENT:

THE RECIPE FOR THE INNOVATIVE PRODUCT HAS OBTAINED A PATERN

Company SIA Balticfloc has obtained a Latvian patent for the new product and an application has been submitted for the world patent. Pilot production line is developed as part of the project LIFE_PHIPP that will produce an innovative thermal insulation product. The product will consist of low – grade paper and high – value hemp fibres. This type of thermal insulation product is not present on the market and is considered to be an innovation. The extent to which the technology and product production process is intended to be demonstrated by the general public is required to protect it with a patent.

INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITIONS:

In early 2019 SIA Balticfloc participated in three international exhibitions – in Latvia, Estonia and Germany, where it showed visitors its products and presented the product of the LIFE PHIPP project – a new heat insulation material, which will be made of recycled low class waste paper and hemp fibre.
The fourth exhibition “Resta” is expected to take place in Lithuania from April 24 to 27 and will be the last spring exhibition of 2019 to see a SIA Balticfloc representative and to get to know all products better.

SIA BALTICFLOC PUBLIC PROCUREMENT PROCEDURE FOR “PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT FOR A TRIAL PRODUCTION LINE OF ALTERNATIVE RECYCLING OF WASTE PAPER AND HEMP FIBRE INTO INNOVATIVE HEAT INSULATION MATERIALS WITH IMPROVED THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY:

 

According to the financial support of the European Union’s LIFE programme and the Administration of Latvian Environmental Protection Fund, project No. LIFE17 ENV/LV/000335 LIFE_PHIPP SIA Balticfloc is organizing a public procedure to purchase a new pilot production line. Subject of procurement is divided into fourteen procurement subject parts suppliers can make offers separately to each part of purchase and to all production lines together. Supplier must pay attention to regulation that in order to reduce the risk of origination of unforeseen costs during fulfillment of the contract and to prepare offers corresponding to the actual situation at the site Product installation place inspection is mandatory for applicants, we are open to organize online site visits.
