SIA Balticfloc actively participated in international construction industry exhibitions, until exhibitions all over Europe were interrupted by Covid19 epidemiological restrictions. However, after a two-year break, international construction industry exhibitions resumed. The first exhibitions, in which the company participated, were construction industry exhibitions in Baltic countries – “House I 2022” in Latvia and RESTA 2022 in Lithuania.

EXPERIENCE EXCHANGE IN LIFE PROJECTS
In September, the LIFE PHIPP project was announced online on the Lithuanian LIFE information day and at the CEPLAFIB project closing conference.
An information day is an important event for capacity building of the LIFE programme. 115 interested persons participated in the activity bringing together existing project implementers, provided practical information to project starters and inspired entrepreneurs to create new projects.
THE PERIOD OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LIFE PHIPP PROJECT HAS BEEN EXTENDED
The Covid-19 restrictions have affected processes all over the world and also the implementation of the project, which was quite challenging in the pandemic conditions. Closing of borders in Europe and difficulties in delivery of international goods affected the planned deliveries of equipment for the production line, thus delaying its installation and dependent project activities.
Taking into account savings on funds within the project, an extension of the period of implementation until 30 June 2023 was requested.
INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCTION LINE HAS STARTED
The process of installation of a prototype trial production line has started, which is in accordance with the production line configuration scheme: assembly of equipment units, automation works, provision of equipment connections and adjustment of the equipment in accordance with technological drawings.
The first issue of the LIFE_PHIPP project Newsletter (no.1) has been created and released. It helps to keep up to date with the latest news about project activities and its progress so far. In this newsletter, read about production line equipment delivery, read the article that has been published in the magazine “Būvinženieris”, find out more about the waste paper and paper recycling, and watch the LIFE_PHIPP project video.

PRODUCTION LINE EQUIPMENT HAS BEEN SUPPLIED
Within the framework of the project, a public procurement was successfully concluded in 2019, as a result of which a supply agreement was concluded with SIA ELEKTRO VILKS on acquisition of the project’s production equipment. The production line will consist of 14 separate units of equipment, supply of which has been completed successfully. We will start the year 2021 with the line assembly works and testing of the equipment.

The main aim of the meeting is to establish first contact and future cooperation between the LIFE HYPOBRICK project and the LIFE PHIPP project.
