On April 7, a seminar for writers of LIFE projects was held on the Zoom online platform, which provided an insight in current environment, nature and climate topics of the LIFE programme. This seminar is a part of the cycle of events organised by the LIFE Support Unit for the purposes of helping project applicants to prepare successful project applications.
In the first part of the seminar, the participants will be presented with priorities and topics in the areas of environment, nature and climate. This information was useful in justifying the topicality of projects for project writers who already have specific ideas and can serve as an inspiration for those who are still considering the potential direction of the project.
Topics such as biodiversity and its preservation, climate change, which continues to be a very pressing problem and the development and introduction of a circular economy in business, have been covered.
In the second part of the seminar, two LIFE project teams shared their experience.
The LIFE GoodWater Integrated Project Manager Linda Fībiga shared experience in drawing up, implementing and realising a major project. It was useful for those who wanted to design a project on nature conservation and preservation.
Balticfloc, on the other hand, shared its expertise on the LIFE project LIFE_PHIPP and its implementation by businesses. This was particularly useful for those who want to design and implement the LIFE project from the point of view of business.
